Bath

Bath is the largest city in the county of Somerset, England, known for its Roman-built baths. Bath is in the valley of the River Avon, and only 97 miles west of London and 11 miles southeast of Bristol, which makes it perfect for a day trip to Bath and Bath spa breaks – it’s one of the best UK city short breaks for families.

There are heaps of things to do in Bath with kids. You can visit Roman Baths, the iconic Royal Crescent and the majestic Circus. There’s plenty to see beyond the city, too, with stunning Somerset countryside to explore, as well as family friendly attractions like Stonehenge, Avebury and Longleat Safari Park which is one of the best safari parks in the UK.
