Bedfordshire

Bedfordshire is a historic county in the East of England. Easily accessible from London, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Cambridgeshire. This is often an overlooked county in the East of England but it is a great place to escape everyday life! Bedfordshire is a great area to visit if you’re craving countryside. With rolling hills, magical woodlands, nature reserves, lakes and rivers, it’s the breath of fresh air you’ve been looking for.

Bedfordshire is the ideal location for a day trip or perfect for a short break with kids. Many of Bedfordshire’s top attractions are only an hour or so out of the centre of London, giving you the chance to get out of the city for a few hours and enjoy the greenery and slower pace of life that Bedfordshire offers. Wobern Safari Park, ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, which is the UK’s biggest Zoo and the Wimple Estate are some  great things to do in Bedfordshire with kids.
