I love looking at fields of golden sunflowers, they just spark happiness and of course create some brilliant photo opportunities. In the UK there are loads of places to see sunflowers and a good friend of mine owns one of the best sunflower fields in Essex.
At some of these fields you can even pick your own. From early July and August you can see acres of beautiful sunflowers – the bright yellow blooms in fields across the UK at your favorite sunflower farm. . We have put together an epic list for you to help you make the perfect sunflower field visits.

Where are the best sunflower fields?
The beautiful Sunflower fields stay in bloom for around eight to 12 weeks, but their peak bloom time lasts only about two to three weeks. Many family farms have their own sunflower fields. Each sunflower field is a sight to see depending on your location. There are a few in each county but we have heard that Garsons Farm in Esher in Surrey is particularly lovely.
What is the best time to see sunflower fields?
Sunflowers start to bloom during mid-summer to early autumn, so you’re most likely to start seeing them in July with August being the peak time, with some fields opening as early as July and others accepting visitors until September.
Where can I see Sunflowers in London?
Although London doesn’t have a specific sunflower field to visit, there are a few that are close by in Surrey including Garsons Farm and Priory Farm. Hitchin Lavender is another good option which is based in Hertfordshire and there are a few sunflower fields in Kent including Blooming Green.
