A question I get asked a lot is, ‘Do I have a packing list for glamping?’ and “What do I need to take?’. You really don’t need all the usual camping gear when glamping as most things are supplied such as towels, duvets, pillows,  bed linen, kitchen wear, crockery, cutlery, mugs, glasses, ovenware and cooking trays – But always check with your rental as everywhere can be slightly different.

Your Packing List for Glamping
Clothing
Weather appropriate clothes – include layers for chilly evenings no matter what the weather, or time of year. Also remember your dressing gown or warm jumper for the mornings/evenings.
Warm bed wear – the mornings are fresh no matter what time of year you go. PJs, Jumper, hat, bed socks.
Slippers – The floors are often wooden but can be cold so make sure you remember to take some slippers.
Coats and Waterproof – We probably always take too much on the wet weather front, but at the same time you always have to go prepared. We tend to pack a wet weather bag, pop it in the roof box and only get it out if needed. Â As well as a lightweight and a warm coat, we also take the all in one waterproofs too. The girls love jumping in the puddles and mud so they just keep clothing cleaner for a little longer!
Wellies – You always need wellies down on a farm – Plus the grass if often wet in the mornings so they are always a good call.
Bedding
Although you don’t need to take bedding for the beds, you do need to take it if your little ones are still in cots, and therefor I will include it in my packing list for glamping. We really used to wrap the girls up at bedtime and it paid off because they slept 7-7!
The evenings were about 4 degrees when we stayed and the girls wore a vest, PJs, socks, all in one sleeping bag (the baby style with legs), fleece sleeping bag from Snuggle Sac which were a big hit, we took their duvet as a ‘just in case’ and used them, and then a blanket on top. Sounds a lot but the girls were snug and didn’t overheat!

Perfect for camping, glamping, holidays or a cosy night at home. The twins loved snuggling into their sacs every night and they kept them super warm.

Torch
Some glamping sites do provide oil and candle lamps which I love, but a torch or two is useful for popping to the loo in the evenings or trying to find something in your bag.
Little Life First Aid Kit
For any bumps and scrapes down on the farm! The Little Life family first aid kit is great for travel.
Kindles/Books
Great for relaxing in the evening. Some glamping sites have plug points in a barn where you can charge electronics or take a power pack.
Travel Baby Monitors – Summer Infant LIV CAM
Did you even know such existed? The Summer Infant LIV CAM cameras work on batteries and also have the option to plug in, they are a great invention for travelling families! They work through your phone or devise so no need for electricity. The have 3-4 hours of battery life and so we used them at bedtimes and nap times to check the girls were settling ok and then turned them off.
