Family Ski Holiday Packing List

Family Ski Holiday Packing List

A family ski holiday is a fun and memorable way to spend time together. It’s great to share the mountains and the snow with your entire family – enjoying the crisp air and the great outdoors at its best. We are going to share our knowledge with you about what you will need to pack for a family ski holiday.

Where can a family go skiing?

European countries such as France, Austria and Switzerland are always popular choices for a skiing holiday. Be sure to also take a look at Italy ski resorts there are plenty to choose from and they really do have some beautiful scenery. America is another popular choice with Colorado a top place to choose – and of course Canada is right up there too.

Family Ski Holiday Packing List

For your family ski holiday you will have to pack accordingly for the snow and the cold weather conditions. That is why it is so important to put together a ski trip packing list before you go – this is to make sure you bring everything you need to keep the whole family warm and comfortable during your holiday. As well as warm clothing you may also need your ski gear if the resort doesn’t provide it but most places will have some available for you to borrow or hire.

Here is my brief overview of the essentials that you should pack for your family ski trip. I will then add a list underneath too. Of course, underwear is important, including thick socks that will protect your feet from the cold. You will also need to think about your clothing layers. This includes base layers and thermals. You will need tops with long sleeves as well as long johns or leggings to help you keep warm underneath your ski gear.  I would recommend taking a rucksack as hand luggage on the plane, then this can then also be used to carry things around the ski resort during the day.
