We have our own twins so have tried to provide everything that will be needed and really do love having families to stay. Both apartments are fitted out to a high standard and are equipped for 6. They each open out to an internal communal area and a fenced garden with climbing frames, sandpit, pedal tractors and other toys as well as large and small seating/tables. There are swings under the adjoining trees. Paul and Flora encourage guests to explore the grounds of their home, Brackenborough Hall, and to play football and tennis on the lawns, explore the vegetable garden and orchard and spinney. Often children say they like best to climb inside our shaped yew tree. Parking is in the farmyard and Paul offers free farm tours, tailored to the ages of guests. He shows them the cows, calves and chickens and lets them sit on our huge tractors (if they dare!). Pets are welcome – and we have a cat called Millie and a Black Labrador called Poppy!

Property Details: Children will love the huge outdoor space and sense of freedom. Loose Reins is a traffic free site, designed to ensure a safe and peaceful environment for all. We have unrestricted access to the huge forest next to Loose Reins where children can build a den, climb trees, make a bow and arrow, go on a scavenger hunt; each lodge has its own secret path into the forest, and guests staying in cabins can access the forest via a little path that runs past the goat and chicken paddocks. Each property has its own large firepit so families can enjoy outdoor eating, toasting marshmallows, and snuggling up around the campfire as dusk falls. There are always animals around – our two Pygmy goats are always up to mischief and very entertaining, watch the ponies grazing and the lambs playing, enjoy eggs for breakfast laid by our organic happy hens. We have a model cow and a proper lasso – guests of all ages have fun practicing their roping skills! Little ones also enjoy sweet dreams at Loose Reins and we are often told by happy parents that their little ones sleep better than they’ve ever known. Property Details: The property is located just a short walk from the village of Porlock down a no through road that leads to a bridleway with fabulous walks into the Exmoor national park. At the bottom of the road is the recreation grounds which have tennis courts and a playground.

Property Details: A quirky 2 floor cottage built on a hillside looking towards Anglesey & Puffin island. Front bedroom has 2 singles, (which can be made into a superking,) and a goldilocks bed for the little prince or princesses; kids love it. Back bedroom has French doors opening out to the patio and enclosed garden. The property has gas central heating but there is also a log burner in the large lounge/diner. A fireguard is provided to keep small fingers away from danger. 10 minutes walk to our blue-flag beach and the footpath at the back of the garden leads you up to Foel Lus and views across the most scenic valley in Wales. Quick easy access via the A55 running along the side of the beach to adventure parks and historic castles.

Property Details: Kirkennan is a great location for nature lovers. Kirkennan has its own private 14 acre woodland with riverside hut, bird hide and stream and plenty of room for children to roam. The wood and gardens are frequented by badgers, roe deer, owls and plenty of birds. There is an outdoor table tennis table in the walled garden and chickens and guinea fowl. We are near the beaches of the Solway Coast, the dark skies of the Galloway Park and numerous visitor attractions.
