Meadow Croft Garden Centre German Market

The Meadow Croft German Market was established in 2015, with a handful of stalls displaying carefully selected authentic produce. Born from an idea to do something ‘different’ at Christmas, the first German Market evening and indeed the market itself was a huge success and has been growing ever since. Inspired by traditional German Markets, you will be captivated by the sights, sounds and smells of the market, with irresistible seasonal treats and unique yuletide gifts and decorations. The German Market hosts more than 30 stalls each handcrafted by owner Roland Smith. Every stall is adorned with handpicked, high-quality artisan products including carved wooden decorations, delicate glassware and baubles, traditional cuckoo clocks, Scandinavian gonks and much more.

Maldon Christmas Festival and Light Switch On

Thursday 24th November from 4-9pm.
Following the success of the Christmas Festival last year, Maldon Town Council is hosting their annual Christmas Light Switch On event again in 2022. The Christmas Fair will offer an evening of entertainment and late night shopping supporting the local businesses plus over 100 stalls lining the High Street offering festive craft, food and drink.
The High Street will be closed from 2pm onwards, with lights being turned on at 5pm by the Town Mayor from the Moot Hall Balcony.

Christmas Markets in Colchester
Colchester Town Hall Christmas Market

On: November 26, 2022 – November 27, 2022
The Colchester Christmas Market turns the High Street into a winter wonderland. Packed full of market stalls, visitors can enjoy browsing, sampling and shopping their way through the stalls before enjoying festive food, drink and entertainment.
At the festival, there will be over 80 traders offering a wide selection of items including clothing, toys, festive gifts and decorations, handmade crafts, local beer and sweet treats. There will also be over 25 stalls selling food and drinks, perfect to warm you up on a cold evening. Enjoy burritos, gourmet Yorkshire puddings, churros and of course, mulled wine!
For this one day Christmas Market, Colchester will come alive with Christmas cheer. There will be funfair rides for children, musical entertainment including a brass band and choir and Santa’s Grotto where little ones can visit Father Christmas.

The Hylands Estate Farmers’ & Craft Market is located both outside the front of Hylands House and inside the Grand Pavilion. The market is a treasure trove of fresh, local food, drink, and crafts direct from the producers and makers. Christmas wreaths, macramé, mulled wine and sweet treats are just some of the delights you’ll find.
Escape the high street bustle to find unique gifts as artists, designers and makers open their studios, as well as local suppliers and vendors. The Stables Cafe will offer tasty festive delights, from hot food and sweet treats to spiced winter warmers and hot chocolate. With a stage, Santa’s parade, fairground rides, a circus toupe, Punch and Judy and flash mobs, there is plenty to entertain visitors at Billericay Christmas Market. 20,000 people attend each year and visit over 150 stalls including crafts, hot and cold food, clothing, gifts and a farm shop, marking the traditional beginning of the town’s Christmas season.
